About Us & our Boat

Gigha Sea Tours is based at Achamore House on the Isle of Gigha. Don Dennis is the Managing Director, while his father Reid Dennis is also a Director and Chairman of the Board. Don Dennis is the skipper of our fine diesel-powered catamaran. Don is a fully MCA qualified Coastal Skipper.

Our boat is a 39ft 6in Catapult Catamaran which was built in Southampton in 2006 (www.catapultcatamarans.co.uk). She has a GRP hull, and twin Iveco 370hp diesel engines. She is fully MCA coded Category 2 for taking 12 passengers up to 60 miles out to sea, and has of course met and surpassed all the safety requirements of the MCA.
